Important information about the Oklahoma Law Office of Tamra A. Spradlin, Attorney
Dear Client/Potential Client:
Thank you for visiting this website and for considering me to help you with your legal representation. I am dedicated to the practice of law and will take great care in handling your case. If you decide you would like to retain legal services, please contact the office by phone or e-mail to schedule an initial appointment. If you live out of state, my Legal Assistant will help you set up a telephone appointment.
For your initial appointment, you will need to bring (or e-mail) case-specific information with you. My Legal Assistant will provide the instructions. I also ask that you fill out a client information form, which assists me in preparing necessary legal documents for your case. My Legal Assistant will e-mail you the paperwork if you prefer to fill it out in advance.
Retainer fees are determined based upon the location of the case and also the complexity of the case. There are other types of fees, including filing fees and service of process fees which may apply in your case. The Legal Assistant will be able to provide an estimated retainer fee for each case. A retainer fee is the initial amount required prior to an attorney officially entering an appearance in a case. A retainer fee is not earned until work is performed in your case, and unearned fees are refunded. Most cases, especially high conflict cases with multiple hearings require additional retainer fees beyond the initial retainer. Please contact the office if you have any questions regarding the legal fees and costs for your case. We do accept credit cards and online payments through LawPay (see the link below) for your convenience.
Communication with my office: After your initial appointment and prior to any court hearings, you may have questions regarding your case. When you call the office (if I am in court), please ask to speak with my Legal Assistant about your questions or concerns at any time. The Legal Assistant will monitor, receive, and respond to all phone calls and e-mails. If I am attending a Trial, Hearing, Deposition, Meeting, or Mediation, she will relay your question to me, and provide an answer as soon as possible. Please advise the Legal Assistant whether your call is an emergency or is time-sensitive.
During the week, I am in court hearings almost every day and may not be able to contact you during regular business hours. My experienced Legal Assistant is available to contact you during regular business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. until noon on Friday. Please let us know if there are any hours you cannot receive telephone calls, and please provide our office with updated contact information (address, phone number and e-mail) if your information changes during representation. It also may be helpful for you to schedule an office conference or telephone appointment time to speak directly with me. It is important to me that you understand and know the status of your case.
If you have any issues or concerns you would like to address, please let us know. It is our mission to help you with your legal situation. Thank you, again, for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Tamra A. Spradlin
